Ignite Minds Mini-Grants

Grants for STEM Education in Schools


Ignite Minds STEM Mini-Grants are awarded to Montana Schools with a focus on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).


They are granted to support collaboration, address gaps and support budgets, and share exemplary practices. Mini-Grants ($1,000 each) are not intended to fund entire projects.


In calendar year 2025, this program is being offered by invitation only.


150 Mini-Grants will be awarded.

How to Apply:

The first time you utilize the new application portal you will need to complete a very short registration form and select a password. Once registered, you can complete an application.

Once you've registered for your account and visit the main portal screen, click Apply at the top and the application for this grant is the topmost one.


Make sure you apply for the Ignite Minds grant.
